Notice Detail :-
This is to inform all registered participants of the upcoming Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Courses, scheduled to be held w.e.f. 5th September 2025 and 3rd September 2025 respectively, that due to the recent floods in the Kullu–Manali region, road connectivity to Manali has been affected. However, road connectivity from Raison bride through the Left Bank route up to the Mountaineering Institute is open for vehicles. Participants are advised to take necessary precautions while travelling and to avoid night travel. Participants arriving in Manali well before the commencement of their courses will be provided free lodging at the institute. In case any applicant of the Basic Course wishes to postpone their participation, they may opt for either: • The October 2025 Batch, or • The Special Basic Mountaineering Course commencing from 12th September 2025.
